Mazuma was founded in 1948 as the Kansas City National Federation of Federal Employees Credit Union. Our city’s federal employees were our first Members and continue to be an essential and valued membership group in the Credit Union.
In light of the ongoing government shutdown, we want to reiterate our commitment to our federal worker Members and share what we’re doing to support those who are impacted.
A government shutdown may create feelings of uncertainty and financial stress for many of our Members. Mazuma is here to assist you with care and understanding during this time. If you have been affected, please reach out (link to Contact Us page) to our Team. We are ready to support you and our Kansas City community.
Some of the options available for current Mazuma Members who are impacted include:
- Flexible payment options and loan assistance
- Emergency relief programs
Mazuma Credit Union is open to serve our Members during the government shutdown and remains committed to Making Kansas City a Better Place to Live, Work, and Bank.
We thank you for your membership and look forward to continuing to serve and support you!
