Member Update: All Branches, including our Call Center, will close at noon on Wednesday, December 24th and remain closed through Thursday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Day. We will resume business hours Friday, December 26th. Members can access their accounts at any time through our Online, Mobile, or Phone Banking platforms.

Always exercise caution when contacted by anyone asking for your card or personal information.

Mazuma Credit Union will never call, text, or email you asking for personally identifiable information (social security numbers, secure access codes, passwords/pin numbers, card numbers, or account numbers), ask you to provide us your card, or instruct you to send money through a third-party vendor (PayPal, Venmo, Cryptocurrency, etc.).

If you are unsure whether an email, phone call, or text message is from Mazuma, please call us directly at 913-574-5000 so that we can assist you.

Valued Mazuma Members,

Since my appointment as Mazuma Credit Union’s Chief Risk Officer late last year, it has been my honor to continue working to safeguard your trust and financial well-being as we maintain our high standards of excellence and security. While our society faces evolving challenges in cyber-security and a complex financial landscape, Mazuma’s commitment to Member service and safety inspires us in our purpose - Making Kansas City a Better Place to Live, Work, and Bank.

I know that considerable uncertainty remains regarding the current economic environment, which can create concerns for our Members. Through steadfast leadership and strategic planning, Mazuma remains well-positioned to serve our Members and community. We’re proud of our ability to help our Members better manage your finances through our offerings, from debt consolidation to earnings on your cash with our various deposit and investment products, among others.

Knowledge is a key to success and security, and I’m pleased to share two resources that Mazuma offers to our Members. First, the Member Security Center on mazuma.org, which provides relevant, actionable information about current trends in financial and cyber safety. Second, the launch of our partnership with Zogo, a financial education app that provides bite-sized, accessible information about saving, investing, financial planning, and more! In other exciting news, Mazuma recently hosted the producers of ABC’s Shark Tank at our Overland Park Headquarters for a casting call open to local and nation-wide small business owners and entrepreneurs. It was a great opportunity to celebrate Kansas City’s innovators and introduce them to our growing suite of Small Business Banking and Treasury Management services!
