BILL SHERMAN

Bill Sherman has been in the financial industry since graduating from Dartmouth College in 1981 and returning home to KC. He has been helping Mazuma Members plan their financial futures since 1990. He holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.

Bill focuses on the performance of your investments, the insurances that reduce your risks, and the mathematical choices we all must face in our daily lives to educate our children and achieve a secure retirement.

An active Member of Rotary International, Bill is the proud father of two grown daughters and has been married to Connie since 1983. He enjoys the outdoors — including golf, canoeing and fishing — and is a National and World Champion in Masters swimming.

JASON BERVE

Since 2010, Jason Berve has been helping individual investors and small businesses plan for their most important financial goals. Jason graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Dual Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing Management before obtaining his Masters of Business Administration. He started his professional career with Edward Jones, where he obtained his AAMS designation (Accredited Asset Management Specialist). In 2016, he was invited to become a Partner in that firm.

In 2020, he took his education and experience and evolved his practice independently, starting his own financial advisory business before falling in love with the culture of the credit union movement. It was at that time he took his Financial Advisory practice and moved it within a local Kansas City area credit union before getting the opportunity to join the team at Mazuma. He has always had a passion and desire for helping people align their financial plans with their needs and goals. From helping people to see the light at the end of the tunnel when they are facing major life-changing events to just coming in for a smooth landing on retirement, he is here for it all. Working with Members of Mazuma Credit Union, he has the knowledge to lead, the empathy to listen, along with the desire to help.

When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Trisha, two daughters, and two stepsons. Most of their time is spent traveling to baseball tournaments, attending various music or sporting events as avid fans of all of Kansas City's professional sports teams, and enjoying friends and family at the Lake of the Ozarks or a social gathering, usually in the form of a spontaneous BBQ.

KYLE MOORE

Kyle has been in the financial services industry since 2011 helping individuals and companies achieve their financial goals. He graduated from Rockhurst University and has a strong passion for personal finance. Kyle joined Mazuma Credit Union in 2019 and enjoys assisting Members develop and implement their personal financial plans and takes a comprehensive approach to personalize portfolios for every investor.

As a lifelong Kansas City resident, Kyle is a big fan of our professional sports franchises: The Chiefs, Royals and Sporting KC. He also enjoys golfing at many of the city’s fine courses. Kyle and his beautiful wife Alicia welcomed their daughter Meredith to the family in 2017.
