Great question! When your CD matures, it means the term you chose is over. At that point, you have a few options:

You can choose to renew the CD for another term, with the currently advertised rate.

You can withdraw the money, or you can roll the funds into a new CD, either with the same term or a different one.

Absolutely! With Mazuma’s mobile and online banking platforms, you can view your CD information from anywhere. You can check your balance, view recent interest earnings, and make transfers of $25 or more to our For Young Investors or Wealth Builder CDs.

1Wealth Builder’s CDs are automatically transferred into the holder’s primary share account upon maturity.
2Young Investor’s CDs are automatically transferred into a primary share account on the first maturity date following the account holder’s 18th birthday.
This is a variable-rate account, rates may change after the account is opened.
Minimum Deposit of $500 for Classic CD, $10,000 for Signature CD and $25,000 for Premier CD. 
An early withdrawal penalty will be assessed if the certificate is redeemed prior to the maturity date. See Truth in Savings disclosure for additional information.
