Non-Purchase Entries and Purchase Entries have an Equal Chance of Winning.

1. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is only offered in Missouri and entrants must be legal residents of the U.S., 18-plus years old as of the first date of each applicable Drawing Period as defined below, and Mazuma Credit Union Members in good standing. Commercial card eligibility is subject to employer policies regarding sweepstakes participation. Employees, officers and directors of Mazuma Credit Union (“Sponsor”), its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members (defined as spouses, children, parents, siblings, in-laws) and those living in their households are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. To Enter: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on January 7, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on December 28, 2008. ("Promotional Period"). There are two (2) ways to enter during the Promotional Period: (1) Automatic Entry: Eligible Mazuma Credit Union Visa® Check Card and Credit cardholders automatically receive 1 entry for each eligible Visa purchase made with their Mazuma Visa Check Card or Credit Card at participating merchants during the Promotional Period provided that such purchases are processed through Visa U.S.A. Inc.'s transaction-processing system. Eligible transactions also include payments to merchants via the Visa Check Card and Credit Card when such transactions are conducted by telephone, Internet or recurring bill payments with merchants who accept Visa. Such entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the primary cardholder. In addition, the Visa Check Card or Credit Card cardholder’s deposit account must be in good standing under theTruth in Savings, Funds Availability, & Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Disclosure (as applicable) to be eligible. Cash withdrawals and advances, balance transfers, and purchases authorized by entering a PIN (personal identification number) are excluded from automatic entry. Visa Check or Credit Cards or card numbers that are stolen, fraudulent, tampered with, or otherwise altered and illegal transactions are not eligible for automatic entry.
(2) To enter without purchase or obligation by mail: print name, address, and day and evening phone numbers on a 3" x 5" card, and mail to: Beyond Marketing, ATTN: Mazuma Swipe & Win Contest, 16011 College Blvd., Suite 208, Lenexa, KS 66219. All entries must be postmarked by December 26, 2008. Enter as often as you wish; limit 1 entry per stamped envelope. No mechanical reproductions or other automated means of entry permitted. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

3. Drawings: There will be one (1) winner for each week of the Promotional Period. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries on a weekly basis (Visa transactions processed and posted by Mazuma Credit Union and mail-in entries). Each drawing will be based on the seven (7) day week starting Monday at 12:00:01 a.m. and ending on Sunday at 11:59:59 p.m. (“Drawing Period”). The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to the sweepstakes.
4. Odds: The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

5. Prizes: Each winner will receive $1,000 deposited into the winner’s savings account. No substitutions or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Winners are responsible for the payment of federal, state and local taxes on the prize and for any other expenses not specified.
6. Notification: Potential winners will be notified by telephone or certified mail (return receipt requested) within five (5) business days after the applicable drawing. The $1,000 will be deposited into the winner’s savings account by the Monday following the drawing. Mazuma Credit Union reserves the right to require an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, and where applicable, a Publicity Release, all of which must be returned within ten (10) days from prize notification date. In the event of non-compliance with these rules, or if the prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. If the prize is won by an eligible individual who is not of the legal age of majority in the state of residence (“minor”), the above required documents must be confirmed and signed by winner’s parent or legal guardian, and the prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to fulfill all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. By accepting a Sweepstakes prize, entrants, or, if minors, their parents or legal guardians, agree to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their names, cities and states of residence and photographs/likenesses and voices for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law. Upon request, winners must execute the aforesaid Liability and Publicity Release.

7. Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants, or, if minors, their parents or legal guardians, agree to these Official Rules and to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors and advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and judges and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, and actions, and any liability of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or nonuse of any prize that may be awarded. Entrants or, if minors, their parents or legal guardians, agree that the laws of the state of Missouri will govern any and all disputes. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries or postage-due entries or mail; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error. If in the Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the judges reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently; to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes; or to terminate the Sweepstakes and, at Sponsor’s discretion, conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, participant, or, if a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian, agrees that: a.) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b.) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c.) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event shall participant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs. Sponsor reserves the right to revise or withdraw this Sweepstakes or Official Rules at any time.
