Wireless Teller FAQs

  • What online services can be accessed using Mazuma’s Wireless Teller?
  • Wireless Teller includes: Account Summaries • Account Transaction History • Account Transfers • View Pending Bill Payments • Schedule Bill Payments • Cancel Pending Bill Payments • View Bill Payment Histories
  • How do I access Wireless Teller?
  • In order to access Mazuma’s Wireless Teller, you need to be a registered Online Teller user (with Account ID and Password/PIN), and have a wireless device with an Internet connection. Simply enter the Wireless Teller URL — https://mobile.mazuma.org/ — into the browser of your Internet-enabled wireless device and then log in using your Online Teller Account ID and Password/PIN.
  • Why can’t I see the first few transactions of my account history?
  • Due to the screen size of mobile phones, only a limited amount of information can be displayed. Some mobile phones take you to the middle or bottom of a new page instead of the top. To make sure you are at the top of the page, use the up arrow key on the phone to scroll to the top of the page. If you want to view more information below, use the down arrow key to scroll down until you come to a "More" link. When you click on "More," it will take you to the next page of information.
  • What happens if I get locked out of Wireless Teller?
  • As with Online Teller, you must call a Mazuma Member Service Representative at 816-361-4194, toll-free 888-361-4194, to reset your password. Once your password is reset, you must first enter your new password on Online Teller via your PC. For security reasons, you may not enter your new password on Wireless Teller first. Once your password is set up on your PC through Online Teller, you may use your Account ID and new password to log in to Wireless Teller.
  • I am able to view the home page of Wireless Teller on my Pocket PC, but when I attempt to log in, I get an error message.
  • When you attempt to gain access to a secure Web site from Windows CE, you may receive the following error message: "Unable to establish secure connection." Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer may issue either of the following error messages: "The page you are looking for cannot be found," or "Unable to establish secure connection." To resolve this issue, update to the Microsoft High Encryption Pack for Pocket PC. This add-on supports MD% certificates with the new hashing algorithm. Download the needed file, and then synchronize your pocket PC.
  • I keep getting locked out of my account when I try to log in from my mobile phone. Why doesn’t it accept my log-in information?
  • Using your mobile phone to enter data takes a little practice. Passwords are case sensitive. Make sure you are entering your password exactly as it is set up. If your password begins with a lower-case letter, you may need to use your phone’s shift key to change the default from upper case. In addition, some phones require extra shift key presses to enter numbers instead of letters.
  • Is there a fee to use Wireless Teller?
  • No. Wireless Teller is free of charge.
  • How do I access Wireless Teller on my Palm?
  • First, please ensure that your Palm® Handheld has an Internet connection via a wireless Internet service provider (Wireless ISP). Once you verify that you can connect to the Internet, you can access Wireless Teller by simply entering the following URL in your browser: https://mobile.mazuma.org/.
  • Which mobile devices does Wireless Teller support?
  • You can access Wireless Teller from any Internet-enabled mobile phone (such as WAP phones), Palm OS device, Pocket PC device or RIM Blackberry device. Note: The devices must have an Internet connection.

DIRECT DEPOSIT

With Direct Deposit, your check is automatically deposited into your Credit Union account(s).

With Direct Deposit, your check is automatically deposited into your Credit Union account(s). For working members, Direct Deposit eliminates making a trip to the Credit Union and standing in line each payday to deposit your check. There's no chance of missing a deposit if you're sick or on vacation, either.

Also, if you're an Online Teller User, you can schedule your own automatic transfers. You can choose a start date to transfer funds easily on our new Schedule Transfer Calendar.

For safety and convenience, retired Credit Union members can use Direct Deposit. Each month your Social Security or Annuity Check is electronically transferred to your account. This eliminates the worry that checks may get lost or deposits be delayed.

PAYROLL DEDUCTION

Payroll Deductions are ideal for those with a busy lifestyle. You can designate any portion of your paycheck to be deposited directly into any of your Mazuma accounts. It's a great way to start saving regularly! And, Payroll Deduction simplifies loan payments, too! You never have to rely on the mail or your memory. Your loan payment is made on time, every month.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS

Automatic Payments save you time and money by automatically transferring your loan payment from your savings or checking account. There's no need to waste postage or a check.

eSTATEMENTS

Tired of the ever-increasing stack of mail, or the file drawer full of old account statements? Help is here with e-statements — online delivery of your monthly or quarterly account statements.

  • E-statements are FREE.
  • E-statements are quick…available several days sooner than mailed statements
  • E-statements are secure…accessed from a secure site using your Member account number and a password
  • E-statements are convenient…read on to learn more!

Your e-statement also includes all the same information as your paper statement. And, if you ever need a paper copy, simply print your statement. Your e-statement can also be saved to a disk, CD or your computer's hard drive.

Plus, don't worry about missing out on special offers—there are links on the e-statement site to electronic versions of these items.

How does it work?
Each month, you’ll receive an email notifying you that your new e-statement is available at Online Teller. Logon to your account and check your statement from anywhere with Internet access—whether you’re at home, in the office or on the road. E-statements look exactly like the mailed printouts you're accustomed to receiving.

You can view your statements beginning July 2003 and will be able to see statements for the past 12 months.

What do I get with my e-statement?
Search—you can search by date, amount or check number to find a specific item.
Print a Copy—you can easily print a copy of your statement at any time.

What's required to receive e-statements?
If you have Internet access and an e-mail account and are also an Online Teller user, you have nearly all you'll need to receive e-statements. The only additional software required to open your statement is Adobe Acrobat Reader, since your statements are in a PDF format. If needed, install Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is distributed free from the Adobe site. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html.

Which one do you choose?
So…would you rather view your statements online or on paper? You now have a choice of receiving either the traditional paper statement or the e-statement. If you choose the e-statement, your paper statement will no longer be printed.

What do I do now?
If you choose to continue receiving the paper statement, you need not do anything.

If you would like to waive your paper statement and only receive an e-statement, please logon to your account via Online Teller and go to the Account Access tab. Just click on the “E-statement” link and submit your enrollment form to pre-enroll

Don’t forget to read the e-statement Agreement. The Agreement outlines the specific system requirements needed to sign up for e-statements.
